Overview of Migration Process from start to finish.

Migration Reviews

Goal:

Practice pulling all the data from your current system into TradeSchool, to make sure that all the most important data is captured, and nothing is missing that you'll need to get started with TradeSchool.

Migration Reviews will be done over zoom, where we will go through the data in TradeSchool and show you where it is located, and make sure it matches up with the data in your system.

Each time we do a review we will be taking note of any data that is missing or pulling into the wrong location. In the next meeting, we will review everything that we fixed from last time, and make sure there is not anything else that needs to be fixed.

The reviews will be done iteratively until you feel that all of the data is pulling in correctly, and you can start using TradeSchool. At that point we will schedule the cutover.

Cutover

Each time we do a new "Migration", pulling data from your system into TradeSchool, it will wipe out any manual data that was changed or entered in TradeSchool.

What that means:
You should keep using (entering data) into your current system until the Cutover.
Any data entered into TradeSchool will not save until after the Cutover, so you can use this time to demo the software without any repercussions.

We will Schedule the following dates with you:

1. Grab final copy of your database.
2. Cutover day to Go Live with TradeSchool. This will start with an Initial Onboarding Session.
3. Any additional onboarding sessions.

Typically the first two dates are back to back, meaning you don't lose any days of work or data entry. You can go from using your old system one day, to using TradeSchool the next day.

Initial Onboarding Session

This will be the first day of using TradeSchool. Our staff will meet with you to make sure you feel prepared and trained on everything you need to accomplish in TradeSchool that day and the next day(s).

At the end of this meeting, we will schedule the follow up meeting for later in the week. These meetings can continue as long as you need to feel comfortable with the software!
