Your Data Migration Process with TradeSchool
📥 Here is an overview of what to expect during this transition from your old software to your new TradeSchool software.
🔑 Below, you’ll find key details about the migration process and how our TradeSchool team will be working with you every step of the way.
What is Data Migration?
Data migration is the process of transferring your data from one system to another. Think of it like moving to a new home—you want to ensure everything is packed properly, transported safely, and placed in the right spot in your new space.
What Happens in a Migration Review Meeting?
Migration review meetings are regular check-ins to ensure the migration is progressing smoothly and that all data is transferred correctly. Here’s what typically happens:
Reviewing the Migration Progress – The TradeSchool team will go over what data has been moved, what still needs to be transferred, and where it is being placed in TradeSchool.
Identifying Any Issues & Fixes – If any data is missing, incorrect, or causing errors, we’ll work together to resolve these issues.
Ongoing Review Meetings – We’ll hold as many review meetings as necessary until you feel confident that all your data is accurately transferred. The amount of migration reviews is typically anywhere from 2-3 meetings.
Cutover Date & Onboarding
After our final migration review meeting, we’ll schedule a cutover date—this is when you’ll stop using your old system and fully transition to TradeSchool.
🛟Onabording
Following the cutover, you’ll begin the onboarding process, where we’ll guide you through learning and using the new software. Our team will be there for you via phone, email, and Zoom meetings, ensuring a smooth and successful transition.
We’re committed to making this process as seamless as possible and are here to support you every step of the way.
