Waive Application Processing Fee
There are two different ways to waive the Application Processing Fee.
Fee Waivers
Create a Fee Waiver in advance so that the User can create an Application for free.
Find the User in the Users module.
If they do not have a User Record yet, create one or have them request one from the Login page.
Navigate to the General > Contact > Discounts tab.
Start by clicking into the first empty row, in the System column, select Online Applications.
Select Fee Waiver for the Type.
In the Amount column, put in the amount of your online application processing fee.
Add an expires timestamp. They will be able to apply for free until the expire time.
Once they have used the Fee Waiver, the Applied Timestamp will be populated.
Manual Bypass
Manually create the Application record for the user.
Be sure to select a Program and specify an Application Date and Status.
Under the Web tab, click the Create button.
When an applicant logs in and clicks on the Application tab, they can now access Application Web Steps to complete.
Keep in mind that with the Manual Bypass, the applicant will skip the demographics form and Creation Steps.
